My name is Ann Merie Edwards and if you have travel on your mind let's talk. I may be new to the travel industry but I have a lifetime of knowledge. I not only have personal experience traveling as a single traveler , but also traveling with young children. I am a Certified Disney Specialist and have visited Disney parks in the US, Japan and Paris. I also enjoy traveling to Europe and always love spending time exploring by train. Some of my favorite cities in Europe are Florence and London.

Rottenest Island, Perth Australia
Once in a Lifetime Trip to the Land Down Under! This was an amazing trip to Australia put on by the Tourism Board of Australia. Over 1100 travel agents applied to go and only 300 of us were fortunate enough to be selected. We spent a week in Perth Australia experiencing all that this beautiful city on the West Coast of Australia had to offer. I was fortunate enough to spend a day where the Aussies go for their weekend getaways, Rottenest Island. Located just a 30 minute ferry ride off the coast of Perth Rottenest Island is a class A Eco resort. While on the island I got a chance to meet some of their most famous residents, The Quakkas. Getting a selfie with these sweet and gentle marsupials is a tried honored tradition. Back on the mainland I visited Freemantle for some fresh caught seafood. Made to order fish n chips is a must try. Perth is a beautiful city that is easy to navigate located on the Swan River. City Beach is a great location to watch the surfers and dip your feet in the Indian Ocean. There are plenty of amazing wineries located in the Swan Valley just a boat ride up the river from downtown Perth. If you are looking for a jumping off point for your Western Australian adventure Perth is a must do.
